Fiona sat at her desk, her fingers tapping rhythmically against the surface as her mind raced with thoughts of how she could help Liam navigate the problem at hand.

She knew that Marcus's hostile takeover bid had shaken him to his core, even if he wasn't showing it and she wanted to find a way to support him like he had done for her when her mother was in the hospital.

The late morning sun streamed through the large windows of the office, casting a golden glow over the open-plan workspace. She glanced at the clock as she counted down the minutes until lunch break as she had thought of taking food to him. Would he even have the appetite for food? She mused.

She sighed as her thoughts drifted back to the issue at hand. She glanced towards Liam's door's direction.
