Bab 60: 59. Midnight Snack

It was night time and I was reading the reports of the so far done research before I felt my stomach grumbling. I looked at the time, it was already past midnight.

"Guess, I'll have to make something myself." I mumbled before I stood up and left my room.

My past life's memories were starting to fade away yet, the skills that I had worked hard for were still solidly there in my mind.

Cooking was one of them, I had cooked for almost all my life so, I was fairly good with feeding myself even if the world were to end.

I walked down the desolate looking corridors watching the moonlight streaming from the large windows lighting the stony path. It was scary but eerily peaceful and quiet. I was almost tempted to sing.

I was about to cross Davian's study when I saw the light that was coming from underneath the door of his office.

"He's working so late." I mumbled before I went over and knocked on the door.
