"Aren't you gonna eat that?" Valtor's sister asked, her gaze fixed on Aurora's untouched breakfast.

"Ah! Uhm- I am," Aurora responded, though her mind seemed elsewhere.

They rose from their slumber a few hours after Aisam departed for the Academy.

She is skilled in the culinary arts thanks to her brother's influence, and made a hearty breakfast for Aurora, hoping to coax some conversation from her.

Yet, despite Aurora's compliance, her attention remained distant, lost in a world of her own thoughts.

Observing Aurora's introspective demeanor, Valencia's appetite waned, her concern evident in the furrow of her brow.

"What are you thinking about right now?" she inquired gently, her tone laced with apprehension.

Startled, Aurora hesitated before responding, "I-I... It's nothing..."

Her gaze softened with empathy.
