Immediately the dust and ashes vanished away from sight...one could see a teenager on his knees.

He coughed out blood continously...before it finally receded. As he cleaned his mouth...before forcing himself onto his feet.

Glancing around him...everywhere his eyes could see to, where all covered in ashes.

There was no Eldritch Spectres in his sight...he had completed his part of the mission. And had already expended most of his energy, if not all. Hence he knew he had no other choice than to stay behind...and let the others handle the rest.

Hopefully they would be able to...

In another part of the wide dark virtual world of the Tree of Nightmare...perhaps it's even its domain. Zeras finally made it there...since as soon as Finero arrived in between the Eldritch Spectres.
