Title - Visiting the Eternals

'The Universe is a weird ass place. To think that the thought of having sex with a woman led to this…'

"Aspect, scan the globe and find me the Eternals." Leucadius ordered as soon as the thought surfaced in his mind. "It's been some time since I left Heaven."

"Understood. Scanning the globe for Cosmic Energy signatures." Aspect said as a ping sound rang in the room followed by a wave of energy akin to a sonar sweep through the screen in his office.

"Found them. They are still in the parts of Eridu." A projection zoomed in for Leucadius to get a clear view. "It is at the southernmost point of Mesopotamia, near the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers."

The scene showed an ancient looking city, surrounded by marshlands and fertile plains. The holographic map highlighted a lush, green area interspersed with winding rivers and canals.

"They've, however, been to Ur which lies further northwest, along the banks of the Euphrates River." Aspect continued.

The map shifted to show Ur, with its impressive terraced houses rising above the flat plains, surrounded by the bustling activity of a major urban center.

There was also Akkad which lay northeast of the soon to be named Babylon, in the heartland of Mesopotamia. It was a land of rolling hills and fertile valleys.

The holographic display highlighted the undulating terrain of Akkad, with its productive fields and strategic hilltop settlements.

Then there was Nineveh which stood to the far north, along the Tigris River. The city had interesting building structures as well as libraries. Leucadius knew that humans weren't capable of even recording information properly so he immediately credited that feat to the Eternals who had passed there.

The map showed Nineveh's imposing architecture and expansive libraries, surrounded by the flowing waters of the Tigris and the city's defensive walls.

There was also Susa which lay In the eastern reaches of Mesopotamia, near the Zagros Mountains. This city, at the crossroads of Mesopotamian and Persian influences. The display highlighted Susa's strategic location at the base of the rugged Zagros Mountains, with fertile plains extending to the west.

"Hmm, they've done a lot." Leucadius could only say with a wry smile. Compared to them, his method was surely slow. There was no possible way the people of Israel would come to match the people the Eternals had visited.

"No need to be concerned, Sir. Despite their best efforts, humans will remain humans in the end. I for one believe your process would lead to an extended and prosperous civilization." Aspect said comfortingly to which Leucadius merely smiled.

To him, whether it was the people the Eternals had visited or the people he was planning to make his own, they were still humans in the end. Although his method would surely be remembered for generations to come, no civilization was built without proper ups and downs.

"Alright, set a course for Eridu." Leucadius said and tapped the office chair twice, and immediately, it transformed into his familiar Throne. Along with its transformation, he white body armor was also fitted making him look even more Godly.

And as soon as his transformation came to an end, the familiar sound of his Boomtube rang out as a swirling portal opened up before sucking him in.

Leucadius POV

I didn't hold much hope while making my way towards the Eternals. If Nezarr could block a portion of my memories without my knowledge despite my Absolute Intelligence, it would be child's play to mind rape the Eternals.

They were strong, that was a fact, but like all Divine and Immortal beings of this Universe, they were content with the power they wielded from the moment of their conception.

Was it not for my interference and daily spars with Thena, I was sure as hell that she too would remain stagnant ability-wise.

She wasn't strong enough to be ranked above Zuras and Ikaris, but she was strong in her own might. However, from the information Aspect gave me, it was only Ajak, Ikaris, Gilgamesh and Thena that were the combat focused Eternals.

Gringo and Makkari were worth keeping an eye on but not a threat. Sersi too was dangerous with her Transmutation ability but she couldn't affect me since she won't be able to decipher the properties of anything I created.

Sprite was not worth paying attention to. Illusions were incapable of affecting me. Druig too wasn't strong enough to mentally manipulate me. Phastos wasn't combat focused but could still be dangerous due to his Technologies.

Anyways, my main focus now was to meet Thena, perhaps I could jump start her memory a bit… Yeah, perhaps I could.

Normal POV

The sun cast a golden hue over the city of Eridu as the Eternals gathered near their encampment while the activity of the city surrounded them with the vibrant sounds of Humans going about their lives creating a lively backdrop.

Ajak stood near a makeshift table, examining a map of the region with Ikaris stoically standing by her side, his gaze sweeping over the map too.

"That last group of Deviants was more persistent than usual," Ajak said, her voice carrying a hint of concern.

"Indeed," Ikaris replied, crossing his arms. "But we managed to drive them away. This village is safe for now."

Thena who was sharpening her weapon nearby. She looked up, her eyes sharp. "We need to remain alert. The Deviants are getting bolder."

Gilgamesh chuckled as he handed Thena a piece of fruit. "You're always ready for a fight, Thena. But you're right. We can't let our guard down."

Makkari, who had been zipping around inspecting various artifacts they had collected, suddenly stopped and signed quickly. "At least the people of Eridu appreciate our help. They're giving us some interesting things."

Sersi, who was examining a small stone figurine she had received as a gift, added. "It's amazing to see how their culture is evolving. Every time we come back, there's something new."

Phastos looked up from his makeshift workstation and nodded. "And their technology is improving too, with a little help from us."

He couldn't hide his dissatisfaction with the current situation however. No matter how much he asked, Ajak maintained that the humans weren't ready for that level of Technology.

Druig stood a bit apart from the group, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "The Deviants are not our only concern. The humans themselves are starting to show signs of unrest. Their minds are... troubled."

"That's what happens when people of different beliefs come together in one place. They won't be able to agree on one thing for long." Ajak said while looking at him affectionately.

To her, the Nine other Eternals were akin to children and she could understand their respective gifts. She didn't know how she could, but she just could.

It was because of that she was able to understand what Druig meant by the Humans becoming diversified.

Sprite created a small, flickering image of a dancing figure reminiscent of the dance the humans performed during their celebrations to entertain herself. "Humans will always be humans. But they are fascinating in their own way." She said to herself.

Suddenly, a shimmering portal opened up in the sky above them, casting a radiant light over the encampment. The Eternals looked up in surprise as Leucadius emerged from the portal, descending gracefully to the ground.

Leucadius observed the Eternals for a moment before deciding to be respectful for a bit and stood up from his Throne.

As soon as he did, the throne compressed in on itself before merging into his suit to give it a black metallic hue.

With that, he smiled and landed with a soft thud, his presence immediately drawing the attention of the Eternals. His white body armor complimented by his white hair gleamed in the sunlight giving him an awesome inspiring Presence.

The Eternals stared at Leucadius, their expressions a mixture of confusion and wariness, however, they showed no signs of fear. Ajak stepped forward, her eyes narrowing as she assessed the newcomer.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice firm but curious.

Leucadius smiled, his suspicions proven to be right, yet he remained calm and said. "I am Leucadius. I have come to meet you, Eternals."

"That doesn't say much about you. You only gave your names, meanwhile, you know we are the Eternals." Ajak pointed out.

"Ah. You're right. I am known by many names, but as Leuca would do for you all, but to others, I am the God of Heaven." Leucadius said elegantly.

"Heaven…The Tenth Realm of the World tree…I see." Ajak said slowly after assessing her memories.

Ikaris took a step forward, his stance protective yet aggressive. "What business do you have with us?"

Leucadius met Ikaris's gaze calmly. "I have observed your work here, your…efforts to protect humanity from the Deviants. I just thought I should come say thanks while also meeting some old friends."

Thena, still holding her weapon, tilted her head. "Old Friends? What do you mean?"

Leucadius turned his gaze to her, a hint of nostalgia in his eyes. "Thena-"

However, before he could continue, he immediately felt a tug on his mind causing him to frown a bit and turn to its source. 'Druig?'

To his surprise however, it wasn't Druig but Ajak who was trying to pull him into a mental space. 'Now that's new.' he thought and allowed her to drag him in.

Leucadius POV

"Who are you and what is your connection to us Eternals?" Was the first thing I heard as soon as I regained consciousness in this galaxy-like Mental Realm.

It seems like her mind was made strong enough in order to better communicate with the Celestials. I did recall that of all the Eternals, only she was capable of doing that in the past.

But with their memories being blocked somehow, I wonder how this came to be…

"If I told you I was once a member of your race, would you believe me?" I asked and turned around to see Ajak standing in her full glory. She was geared and prepared for battle.

"...Do you know where you are?" She asked calmly instead of answering my question.

"Your Mind-scape perhaps..?" I asked back.

"Hmm. You do know a thing or two." She said, I didn't know if she was trying to be condescending or something but…

"I am God. Of course I know about all these." I said to her and raised my hand slowly before pointing at her. "Boom."

As soon as I said that, a small explosion rang out just behind her. The explosion generated a bit of air and sound waves that pushed her towards me.

When she did reach me, I merely snapped my finger to change the area around me into a Japanese room with the two of us wearing Japanese Haoris.

"Please, make no efforts in trying to threaten me. I do hate those." I said and took a sip from the cup of sake that I also willed into existence.

And while I did all these, Ajak just looked at me dumbfoundedly. I could understand her though. She was supposed to be the strongest Eternal or Being as a matter of fact on Earth right now.

Yet, some nobody she had never heard of just toyed with her in her own home ground.

Still, as the current Eternal Prime, her mental fortitude wasn't a joke, so in a matter of mili-seconds, she was able to get her emotions and wandering thoughts to a halt. "First off…There exists no such Thing as Gods."
