Bab 32: Flee

Two sinister figures emerged from the shadows in a corner of the Mansion, silently killing and consuming two maids.

Their grotesque forms immediately transformed to resemble the maids they had consumed.

Their target was clear: the room at the end of the hallway where they currently stood.

As they approached, the door suddenly opened and a woman stepped out. At first, her eyes seemed unfocused, but when she saw them, they sharpened, and she hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Master Jie is hungry. You need to prepare dinner."

The two impostor maids were speechless. They exchanged a glance, but before they could respond, the girl raised her voice, her eyes flashing with anger.

They were initially taken aback for unknown reasons.

"Get moving. Dinner needs to be ready in 15 minutes!"
