The next morning, Liam walked out of the shaman's hut along with his brother, sister, Gotah, and his subordinates. The moment people saw him approaching the large chair that looked like a throne, they fell silent.

Gazes filled with awe, respect, fear, and curiosity were directed towards him as he got close to the throne. Without any hesitation, he sat on it and looked at the people who had their eyes on him for the past minute.

"Last night, the chief of this tribe lost the fight and also lost his life. As a result, his bloodline was erased completely by the shaman and his followers," he said, pausing as he took in the expressions on the people's faces.

"Before you assume that I'd be the chief now, I want to tell you all that I am not interested in that position. But since I killed the previous chief, I'll take the responsibility and select the next chief instead. As for me, I'll be joining the Shaman's team that will keep an eye on the chief."
