Bab 336: Strike a deal

VALENCIA'S POV

After meeting the packs and their respective alphas on our way back, we reached Dark Callisto Pack just half an hour ago and were sitting before Axile, who arrived to invite us to the crowning ceremony. 

Since King David felt apologetic, he decided to crown Axile on the next full moon in a couple of days. 

"You will come, right?" Axile asked me. 

I sighed. 

I wanted to go, but… 

I nipped at my fingers, unsure. 

"We will come," Maverick answered, holding my hand to comfort me. 

I looked at him, a little surprised by his words. 

Wasn't he who told me not to leave the pack during the full moon because my wolf would be the most powerful that day compared to other days of the month?

"I will keep you in control," Maverick whispered to me, and I smiled at his choice of words. 

Axile smiled at us before his expression turned solemn.

"What is it?" Maverick asked, already sensing something was wrong.
