The bird's angry voice came next, confusing the guards as he suddenly took his complete form, his large form occupying more than half of the hall before he used his fire to burn the guards before his lord, who was humiliated.

Maverick, who had been following the bird closely using his alpha speed, reached the place where Valencia was captured.

The council members and guards followed suit. 

Without wasting a second, Maverick rushed inside the cave-like thing that led to an inbuilt prison in the dungeons. 

He was anxious to meet his woman, ensure she was fine, and see her breathing and lively.

He pushed away all the guards who came forward to stop him and followed his instinct until he finally reached the cell-like hall where she was. 

Maverick's pupils dilated when his gaze landed on her form.
