Bab 188: The same Luna-Alpha?

VALENCIA'S POV

"Are you ready?" Maverick asked me as we stopped outside the pack.

My hand immediately reached for my still intact locket, which worked well to hide my scent. 

"Will you stay on my side?" I asked.

There will be arguments. A face-off with Tyler was inevitable because I was sure he wouldn't quickly let go of what happened yesterday.

He will create problems for me, probably by staking a claim on me before everyone, and in that moment, I need to be strong. I would be able to handle him well, but it would be supportive if the party host sided with me.

"Always," Maverick said, and I took a deep, shaky breath. 

"Let's go then," I smiled at him.

He immediately nodded at Greta, who nodded back and started the car to enter the pack.

Normally, the party host should've been in the venue already, but he wanted to make an entrance with me, and since he was the strongest, was he really afraid of anyone's judgment?
