VALENCIA'S POV

I opened the file that the prince's secretary gave me. I read the first few lines that contained the questions regarding what I was doing with the mission and what I had done so far.

I rolled my eyes at the file before closing it and throwing it on the table again.

Prince Ethan looked at me with raised brows, probably not expecting this kind of behavior from someone like me, but he was surely getting on my nerves.

"Just ask the questions straightaway. Do you need to act so flamboyant with it when you know what you are doing is kind of illegal? You need records of it too?" I asked.

Yes. I was disgusted with the mission to some point. If it had been any other alpha, I might not have felt that weird or cared about what they wanted or how it would affect the alpha or his pack.

However, this was Alpha Maverick we were talking about. He wasn't just any alpha...
