Anxious. That was exactly what I was feeling from the moment I found out Valencia was kidnapped.

My heart hadn't stopped beating at the pace of a bullet train since then, the dread not leaving my chest as my brain was constantly thinking of how torturing it was for her.

What if they were being worse to her? What if they were hurting her?

I didn't know Valencia was engraving herself with such effectiveness in my heart that the thought of her getting hurt was hurting me so much.

I already lost my family once to these rogues, the thought of losing someone else who I was getting close to was making me feel like the biggest failure.
