VALENCIA'S POV

It was refreshing.

I would've never thought I would be vibing with a bird three times my size.

I was watching the big Argentavis drinking water from the lake on the hill while I was humming a song casually.

Though this bird wasn't able to talk to me despite being a weird mythic creature that appeared out of nowhere, it was able to understand me just fine.

The bird was seriously acting like it was well-trained, and I didn't know what to think of it anymore.

Once I was done drinking water, I was about to ask him to fly away when he suddenly looked at me, the emotions in his eyes, comforting as he walked to me.

Usually, I would've definitely felt slightly fearful of the creature, despite how docile it was, but my emotion-picking powers told me that the animal didn't want to harm me at all, and I stood there with my heart beating strangely at a calming pace.
