Emrys opened his eyes, feeling his entire body heavy. His head was also churning, as if it were filled with a swirling storm of thoughts and memories, making it hard to focus on anything clearly.
Most importantly, these thoughts and memories didn't belong to him. They were a series of foreign images and experiences that seemed to invade his mind, leaving him disoriented and confused.
Furthermore, these images and experiences were so chaotic that Emrys was unable to truly understand any of them even after a long while.
Other than not being able to understand these chaotic memories, he was also unable to move his body. He was feeling as if his body's weight had increased by at least a hundredfold. It was too heavy to move a single finger, let alone the entire body.
In fact, he couldn't even properly keep his eyelid open for long. Due to their weight, he could only close his eyes.
