Bab 15: Chapter 15: A Problem From Different Timeline.(5)

The dust settled as the last of the pirates lay incapacitated on the ground.

Leon, his katana still glistening with the blood he just shed, surveyed the scene with the same uncaring eyes.

A heavy silence hung in the air, broken only by the labored breaths of the defeated.

Suddenly though, as if to announce the last phase of the operation, he heard a footstep behind him.

Dudley, who seemingly had escaped the area popped out.

In his grip was Olivia, her eyes filled with fear, and three other girls, all bound were shown.

Dudley, with a smile you would probably prefered to be mosaic spoke.

"Well, well, well. I didn't expect this at all. Quite the mess you've made, but it ends now."

Leon's expression remained stoic, his seemingly monotonic eyes peered onto his with a considerable bloodlust in them.

Dudley could feel his heart hammering against his ribs, but he didn't let it show.

"Let's not make this harder than it is supposed to," he began, his voice a chilling calm. "Let me go, and I'll release them unharmed."

Leon said nothing, his gaze unwavering. Dudley's smile faded, replaced by a look of irritation.

"Did you hear me? Or are you as stupid as you are brave?"

"Do you really think I care if you do harm them?" Leon finally replied with an even tone.

Hearing his rebuttal Dudley was startled for a moment, refusing to surrender he spoke again. "Oh~ You don't?"

"Then you wouldn't mind if I did this?" he asked, pressing the blade against olivia's pale throat just enough to draw a single drop of blood.

Though the boy remained silently still, dudley immediately noticed the emotionless eyes of the boy in front of him flicker briefly, replaced by intense anger.

"Ha ha ha ha." Dudley laugh hysterically.

Olivia, terrified, looked at Leon, and when their gazes met, something in him hardened.

Dudley's grip tightened on Olivia, causing her to whimper. "You really think you're clever, don't you?"

Narrowing his eye slightly, dudley ordered. "Your head is too high... On your knees."

A subtle flicker of fury crossed Leon's face, but he quickly masked it.

Dudley, noticing, allowed a cruel smile to twist his lips, as if he had found a particularly intriguing toy.

"Yeah, that's it~, that's it!" he sneered. "Show me that you're human after all."

Leon's eyes darted to the other girls, their terrified faces urging him to comply. Slowly, he began to fall.

It was clear to the naked eye that it was physically painful for him to kneel; his pride, principles, his proud self and everything, crumble as he lowered himself to the ground.

His movements were deliberate, stiff, yet measured. Nonetheless he didn't hesitate for a moment to comply.

"Quickly~ Quickly~ Kneel properly!" He barked, pressing the cold blade of his to Olivia harder.

Leon, with his knees touching the concrete, bowed his head.

The cold, unyielding ground beneath him felt like a mockery of his once unassailable pride.

He could feel the weight of the situation pressing down on him, each second an eternity, each breath was a labourous, struggled breath.

The sting of humiliation burned in his chest, his heart pounding like a war drum, loud enough for the occupants of the room to hear.

"Good," the boss said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "Now, beg for their lives." He pointed with the muzzle of his gun.

A faint, yet dense aura of rage sparked in his feature, but he quickly quelled it.

Because dudley had his eyes fixed on Leon, with his grip on Olivia tightening.

"You thought you could take me down with brute force? You're nothing but a fool."

Leon's voice was steady, but there was a cold edge to it. "Let them go. I promised I won't follow you."

He laughed in return, a harsh, grating sound. "Oh, Do you think you are in a position to demand something?"

Leon's stoic mask faltered for a split second, a subtle flicker of anxiety in his eyes. Dudley's smile widened, relishing the moment.

"You're just a man hiding behind hostages. A coward."

Dudley's eyes flashed with anger, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Your head is still high," he commanded again, pressing the blade harder against Olivia's throat.

With no other choice, Leon complied, lowering his head to touch the ground.

"Like that beg again," he taunted. "Beg for their lives."

"Please," he said, his voice low and controlled. "Let them go."

"Not sincere enough."

Hearing the man's sarcastic voice Leon trembled slightly, but he still comply regardless. "Please, Let them Go. I beg you."

Dudley's smile was triumphant. "That's more like it. Now, watch as I end you."

In a swift, silent motion, a small metallic ball emerged from the shadows, and shot directly at his head.

Dudley, too focused on his supposed victory, didn't saw it coming.

"Kyaaaaa!!!" Olivia gasp in suprise.

The man with wide eye fall to the side, his grip on Olivia loosening.

Taking advantage of the situation, Leon sprang to his feet, shot towards dudley, the anger he has was palpable.

Reaching Dudley in a swift motion, he stepped on his chest and whispered in a soft, velvety tone, "I'll kneel to you again."

Yet, the expression on his face was nothing short of demonic.

With a face contorted in horror, Dudley attempted to aim his muzzle at the boy, but the katana, sharp and swift, drove through his wrist and pinned it to the ground.

"aaaaaahhhhhh.... a

gaaaahhhhhh aaaaah."

"Oh?~ You aren't interested anymore?"

"Gaaah... haaaah haaah haaah... I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Forgive me."

"Oh? Should I?~" He withdrew his gaze as if in contemplation, then asked, "Tell me, how many women have you raped? Or how many innocent people have you killed? You may choose to answer either one."

"Guah... aaaa... aaaa. Haaa." The man could offer no answer; he merely cried, squirmed, and breathed laboriously.

Leon surveyed the man with a cold, detached amusement like a scientist observing a particularly interesting insect.

"I see~ I see. You want to play first then? Very well."

He asked the question and answered it himself, his voice laced with malice.

With a deliberate, menacing calm, he seized the man by the collar, trying to yank him upright.

"aah!" The man screeched, as the katana still pinned his wrist to the ground.

"Tch." He clicked his tongue and kick the sword to the side and pulled him up in one swift motion.

The man's legs wobbled uncontrollably, struggling to support his weight. Sweat streamed down his face, mingling with the grime, as he breathed in frantic, shallow gasps.

In a swift, brutal motion, Leon drove his fist into the man's midsection.

The blow impacted with such force that the knuckles drove deep into the soft tissue of the abdomen.

The man's diaphragm was violently compressed, the impact forcing a dense spray of blood from his mouth in a whoosh.

He was hurled sideways, crashing into the pillar with a sickening thud and falling to the ground.

Leisurely, he walked to his side, gripping the bloody wound where the katana had pierced his wrist.

He yanked it with deliberate force, making him scream frantically. "Gaaahhh!... aahhhh!"

As Dudley struggled to rise, Leon frowned and doubled over, forcing the man's abdominal muscles tightening spasmodically.

The sheer pain drove him to clutch desperately at his bruised belly.

"I'm sorry... Forgive me. I apologize. Sorry. Guhha hha..." He spurted out blood.

Hearing his despereation, Leon smiled ever so brightly, "Don't bitch around, We are just starting.

Hearing his words, Dudley decided to bite his tongue.

However, just as he was about to do so, Leon forced his gloved-left hand inside in a blur, and Dudley's teeth sank into Leon's flesh.

"Ha ha ha ha. This is about to be real fun," Leon shout, and laugh.
