A few more minutes passed and Atticus still did not return.

[Hm... Is he actually dead?]

Berkah stroked his chin, and considered the possibility that Atticus might have actually been already defeated.

[He didn't really strike me as the type but... What if he's escaping?]

Berkah considered the other possibility and was filled with urgency.

"Tch! I can't let that happen!"

*Flap!*

Berkah beat his pitch black wings and flew in the direction which he propelled Atticus.

*Fwosh!*

He hurridly tore through the air, he had absolutely no intention of letting Atticus leave this place alive.

*Bzzt!*

He imbued his wings with lightning and increased his speed, his eyes frantically searching for Atticus.

[Hm? What's that?]

Something finally caught Berkah's attention in the far distance.

He narrowed his eyes and saw what resembled the shadow of a fast moving object.
