The industrial district was eerily quiet as I navigated the narrow, dark streets. My team of guards was spread out, combing through every building, every shadow. My heart pounded in my chest, a mix of anger and fear driving me forward. Huang Yanyan was out there, and I had to find her.

The call came in just as we were finishing up a sweep of another empty warehouse. One of the guards had found the van. I raced to the location, my mind filled with a thousand scenarios, none of them good.

When I arrived, the sight of the van made my blood run cold. It was parked behind an old factory, hidden from view. The doors were wide open, and there was no sign of Yanyan.

"Damn it," I muttered, clenching my fists. "Where is she?"
