Under Alvida's orders, they approached the small boat where Byakuya had been.
But upon closer inspection, no one was on the ship.
"Beautiful Captain Alvida, there's no one on this ship," the pirates quickly reported.
Alvida was puzzled, "How could this be? Did they abandon ship as soon as they saw us?"
Just as everyone was puzzled, a voice tinged with mockery suddenly came from the cabin.
"Are you looking for me?" Byakuya pushed open the door and stepped out, with the meek Coby following behind.
When Byakuya saw Alvida, his expression changed drastically, his eyes twitching uncontrollably as he fought back the urge to vomit.
He hadn't expected the real person to be even more exaggerated than portrayed in the anime.
It was unbearable dealing with Alvida, who hadn't eaten the Slip-Slip Fruit. Alvida, seeing Byakuya suddenly appear, became wary.
"Who are you?"
"Weren't you just looking for me?" Byakuya reached into his pocket as if searching for something.
This action startled the pirates on Alvida's crew.
They thought Byakuya was reaching for a weapon and immediately aimed their knives at him.
Even Alvida's plump hand tightened around her club, as thick as a thigh. She sensed an intense danger emanating from Byakuya.
It felt like an invisible hand was choking her neck, suffocating her.
Seeing everyone's reaction, Byakuya smiled warmly, his handsome face like a friendly neighbor's.
"I'm just getting a cloth, no need to be nervous." Byakuya took out a light blue cloth from his pocket and blindfolded himself.
Almost everyone was puzzled by Byakuya's actions.
Blinding his eyes before a fight was something they had never seen before.
"Big Brother Byakuya, what do you mean?" Coby was also confused.
"It's nothing, I'm just afraid that if I start fighting later, I'll vomit looking at that ugly fat face."
Byakuya said casually, then took out a pair of white gloves from the system space.
The gloves covered two-thirds of the forearm, similar to Saitama's gloves.
Although it was satisfying to punch enemies, the feeling of blood sticking to his hands was hard to accept.
So Byakuya was smarter this time.
Before leaving, he spent two million berries to order ten pairs of white gloves.
Made from sea king skin, they were resilient and elastic enough to prevent blood from seeping in and touching his skin, perfectly meeting Byakuya's current needs.
"Who are you calling ugly?"
Alvida's already grotesque face became even more hideous, making it even harder to accept.
"Go, boys, get him! I'll twist his head off!" Alvida ordered, and nearly a hundred underlings rushed forward.
Seeing this, Coby instinctively closed his eyes, afraid to see the scene of bloodshed.
But then, he heard Byakuya's undeniable voice.
"Open your eyes!"
"If you can't even handle a scene like this and still want to be a decent Marine, you might as well go back to being a regular person."
Coby trembled as he opened his eyes a crack, witnessing a scene he would never forget for the rest of his life.
Facing the onslaught of numerous pirates, Byakuya didn't retreat but instead advanced.
A chilling blade flashed toward him, but Byakuya sidestepped and punched through the pirate's chest from behind.
Blood splattered, some droplets even landing on Coby's face.
With a single punch, Byakuya's fierce fist wind pierced through over a dozen pirates, scattering flesh and blood, and leaving corpses strewn across the ground.
Coby murmured, "Are all Marines this powerful?"
Byakuya's brutal attack instantly subdued the remaining pirates.
Even Alvida herself stood frozen in place, nearly dropping her club. Fear swept through everyone's hearts like a raging storm.
The power gap was enough to instill despair in anyone.
With each step Byakuya took forward, the other pirates retreated two steps.
Seeing this, Byakuya chuckled, "Since you won't attack, I'll do the honors!"
His seemingly sunny smile belied a chilling cruelty, sending shivers down everyone's spines.
Before anyone could react, a series of screams rang out, and the pirates vanished into thin air as if evaporated.
Alvida's entire body trembled, her legs as heavy as lead, unable to move an inch.
From setting sail until now, she had claimed the lives of dozens, but this scene of hell on earth chilled her to the bone.
In moments, only three people remained on the entire ship: Byakuya, Coby, and Alvida.
Byakuya specifically left Alvida for last, not out of any particular preference, but rather to experiment.
Given that both Alvida and Coby were well-known characters in the anime,
Byakuya wanted to see which method would yield more World Source Energy: sparing or killing a character.
Unfortunately for Alvida, she was the one chosen to be killed. Blame it on her not having eaten the Slip-Slip Fruit yet.
Alvida swung her club desperately, finding solace only in the feeling of wielding it.
The massive club, carried by powerful winds, slammed towards Byakuya.
With no hesitation, Byakuya shattered the club with a single punch and sent Alvida flying,
Hoping she'd come back in her next life looking a bit more normal. The system prompt sounded once again:

With 30 points, it's quite a drop compared to Coby's 50 points.
However, in the anime, Alvida's role is much smaller compared to Coby's, so it's understandable.
Byakuya untied the light blue cloth and discarded it along with the blood-stained "white" gloves on his hands onto the ship.
Encountering Alvida's Pirate Crew, Byakuya directly harvested 82 points of World Source Energy. It could be considered a great harvest!

After much hesitation, Byakuya chose to increase his Fusion Degree.
After all, every point increase in Fusion Degree would bring about a drastic change in Byakuya's strength.
Moreover, in Byakuya's original plan, there was something he had to try.
If successful, it would yield tremendous World Source Energy for Byakuya.
But if things didn't go smoothly, Byakuya would need enough power to help himself escape.
