As Harper stepped out of the motorhome, a friendly-looking man holding a baby greeted her with a warm smile. "Oh, you have a lady friend!" he exclaimed.
Glancing at the clock, Harper noted that it was already well past noon, the early onset of dusk signaling the approach of winter. "Yes, this is my girlfriend," she replied, a fond smile playing on her lips.
"Oh, nice. She's beautiful," the man commented genuinely, his own expression brightening. "I'll be out of here tomorrow; it's getting colder."
Harper smiled sweetly at the man, gazing at her motorhome softly. "This is my home," she stated firmly. "I'll be out when I'm ready."
