Once the transfer to my hands was completed, and everything was now in my new penname, with my identity hidden, I wouldn't show up to any public appearances, instead sending out autographed copies and such, completing my duties as an author along with meeting proper deadlines for the other books.

That wasn't to say that I didn't have a plan for book signings and such; it was just that I wasn't strong enough to fulfill that plot at present. Essentially, what it entailed was me using a combination of Mind Control and Psy-Tag to make a proxy puppet to act in my stead.

In doing this, not only would I be out of reach from the masses, saving me from idiotic public relations, but I wouldn't have to deal with Returners, who no doubt would be out for my head.

Even if the proxy were killed off, they wouldn't be able to take over the series, and it was firmly in my grasp.
