Bab 59: Meeting The Sinclairs

Jace looked at Nyx, the gravity of his words hanging heavily in the air. For a moment, he felt a pang of sympathy for the man, but he quickly masked it. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice firm. "We can't help you with that."

Without another word, Jace shut the door, leaving Nyx standing alone in the hallway. Nyx stared at the closed door for a moment, his silver eyes reflecting a mix of frustration and determination. He knew his quest wouldn't be easy, but he had hoped for a lead, even a small one.

Inside the room, Jacin turned to her brother, her brow furrowed with concern. "What was that all about?" she asked.

Jace took a deep breath, trying to dispel the lingering tension. "It was nothing," he replied, his tone dismissive. "Just someone looking for trouble. We can't get involved."
