As Eve and Ava continued their search through the bustling streets of Draconis City, Nyx found himself standing at the entrance of an unassuming inn. He walked inside with a commanding presence, his cold, iridescent eyes scanning the room. The innkeeper, recognizing the look of someone who did not wish to be disturbed, quickly handed him a key without a word.

Nyx took the key and ascended the narrow staircase, his movements graceful and silent. He reached his room, number 9, and entered, shutting the door behind him with a quiet click. The room was modest, with a simple bed, a wooden dresser, and a small mirror hanging on the wall.

He approached the mirror, his expression hardening as he gazed at his reflection. His silver eyes gleamed with a mix of anger and sorrow. Nyx's thoughts drifted to his brother, the memories of their time together in Luminara filling his mind. The pain of his loss was still fresh, a wound that refused to heal.
