The crowd couldn't control their emotions, especially those who were supposedly calm and collected in the front row. People from their position knew especially just how valuable the item was on display. 

A 300% EXP increase was already exaggerated enough, but the duration lasted for one whopping hour. 

That might not seem a lot, but for players like them who were at the mainstream. The one hour of grinding with that potion consumed was enough to extend the gap by a large margin.

However, that wasn't even the main concern in their thoughts. Instead, it was the fact that the Vanguard Guild could afford to put up such a godly tier item to be auctioned off.

If the Vanguard Guild could afford it, then wouldn't it make sense that they had many more in store? 

Almost everyone on the front row was a sly fox, so as soon as they made that connection from their logic, they quickly informed their guild while maintaining a stoic expression.
