Bab 275: Opening meeting

The news that the hero Eneas would finally be promoted to admiral was very well received by the Greeks, but when it was also said that he would take the place of the deceased director of the academy, a real wave of fervor flooded the boys.

That first year, more than three times as many applicants signed up for the academy as there would normally be, however the exam was always cruel and many would be rejected, others could simply aspire to be soldiers, and a small elite would enter the school for officers.

But Eneas began with the changes from the first day, and one of the ones he made was the inauguration ceremony. There would be no discrimination that relegated mere soldiers to being received by a teacher, and not enjoying a welcome dinner.

Eneas separated the days, the first the soldiers would have their reception, and the second with the brilliant aspiring officers.
