[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]
Third Person POV
Hogwarts.
...
...
Snape had no trouble getting to Professor Flint's class, being one of the first to arrive and choosing a corner. As he opened the system, he had accumulated points from some training that he hadn't distributed yet...
'Should I add this to intelligence?' Snape couldn't help thinking as he looked at his status. He was already very strong, faster and stronger than anyone at this school. How could he further improve his performance?
Since he didn't need physical strength at the moment, he decided to put everything into intelligence. He looked at today's mission screen:
[System: You earned 3 points to add to your stats!]
There was another screen that he hadn't opened since the fight against the spiders in the forbidden forest.
[You leveled up!]
[You leveled up!]
[You leveled up!]
He had gained 3 levels, adding 3 points to each statistic and an additional 15 points, 5 per level.
He had 27 points to spend as he wished, 12 from his 4 days of training and 15 from gaining 3 levels.

He ended up putting all his points into intelligence to increase his comprehension and his magical powers. He also had a considerable HP, although it wasn't even half of his magic. His natural life points were 80, while magic was 50, but due to the number of points distributed in vitality and intelligence, with each point adding 10 status points both in magic and life, he had this higher ratio in magic due to his priority.
His body soon felt a surge of magic increasing, which was more than 20% of his current magic. This amount far surpassed his classmates.
"Mr. Snape?!" Suddenly, Filio Flitwick called his attention, causing Snape, who had been thinking about the system, to look at the professor at that moment. He was surprised to find him there staring while the whole class was present, just looking at Snape with confusion, while Flitwick himself looked astonished.
"Yes, Professor Flitwick?" Snape asked, not quite sure why he was reacting that way.
"How?" He simply asked.
"Hm?" Snape didn't understand what he meant, 'Did he notice my increase in magic?!' Snape thought about that possibility, although he didn't know it would happen like this.
"..." Filio Flitwick was looking closely at Snape. He was about to start the lesson but felt a magical disturbance in Snape and could notice that his magic had increased significantly, by a fifth, while the boy seemed to be staring into the air doing nothing.
That was unbelievable for the spellcraft professor, having never seen anything like it while a wizard increased his magic just by standing there. He knew Snape was not that powerful before the holidays, which left him puzzled, but now he saw something incredible, Snape had increased his magic by 10% in a few seconds there in the middle of the class.
"Hm..." He quickly tried to clear his throat, not wanting to discuss it in the middle of the class. "Sorry about that, let's continue our lesson." Flitwick said calmly.
He left Snape aside as he began the lesson. Snape stayed silent; he looked to the side and saw the girl who always followed him standing by his side. She gave him a greeting smile, and he nodded back at her with a neutral face.
"Let's continue our variant of Wingardium Leviosa..." The professor asked everyone to keep practicing.
Snape, already mastering the spell, opened his book and started studying, and the professor didn't complain about Snape doing this. He just kept thinking about the mystery of the boy.
"Snape..." the voice of Lucinda was heard. "Can you help me?" She asked as Snape looked up from his book to the girl.
Snape sighed and ended up agreeing to help the girl. Setting his book aside, he asked her to demonstrate her spell. She used the "Wingardium Leviosa" spell, lifting the object in the air, and tried using "Descendo" but without much success. She seemed quite impatient, moving her wand a bit more harshly than she should.
"Try to materialize the spell, that's the secret, you're being too harsh, but if you do exactly what I asked, you will be able to make a more natural movement," he commented in a neutral tone, as the girl looked on for a moment and nodded, trying to practice, but without success.
"Try to visualize the execution of the spell, make the right movement, invoke the Latin word at the exact moment," he said again. "And most importantly, relax... make the spell a natural part of you..." he reminded her.
The girl continued practicing while he returned to his book, asking her to follow his tips. It was only some time later that she began to see some results.
"I'm getting it!" she exclaimed, a bit excited.
Snape looked at her and nodded, saying, "You should just continue practicing, it will soon become natural for you."
The spell was far from perfect, but it was already an improvement, being in front of the class. It would be something that might catch the professor's attention, earning some points for Slytherin, but while Snape continued in his book trying to disconnect from the environment around him to focus on his reading, Professor Flint was not even paying attention to the students, still appearing thoughtful.
This lasted a few more minutes until the clock finally struck the hour, signaling the end of the class, and Professor Flitwick finally returned to the class from his thoughts.
"Well... Class is over, you may go. Have a great day and see you in the common hall!" the professor spoke, and everyone began to leave the class.
As the class started to exit after greeting him, but Flitwick turned to a specific student, one who had not left his mind throughout the entire class. "Mr. Snape, may I have a word with you if you permit?" He asked, and Snape looked at him, not leaving the room to see what the professor wanted.
"Yes, Professor...?" Snape asked while he was the only one in the room.
The professor approached with his short legs towards the student. He wanted to know some things about the boy, what he planned for his future, and the crisis that the magical world was facing. Snape had shown today that he was no ordinary person in the magical world; he saw the boy's potential and wanted to immediately approach him.
He was not like others who initially believed that the boy was siding with the dark forces, despite his group of friends in recent years being quite questionable. He didn't see Snape as a death eater, and the boy seemed quite distant from those groups in his house.
"I wanted to ask you, Mr. Snape... What do you plan to do? You know that the magical world is not at its best moment," he said, and Snape seemed to understand his question, scratching his chin.
"If you think I'm going to join one side of this conflict, you are mistaken, Professor. I do not intend to even participate in this war, and I wouldn't say the magical world, just England will be affected..." he spoke, even leaving the professor a bit surprised by that.
"You do not plan to participate in the war?" he couldn't help asking what he heard from Snape.
"No, I do not see myself entering that kind of war. It's not my problem," he spoke. After all, his priorities were elsewhere, priorities that might even lead to destruction in this world, not a war simply for the supremacy of pure blood in the politics of this country.
Voldemort was already powerful, but that was his limit. He was only stronger than the others, just a kind of terrorist leader, nothing more. Voldemort did not have the power to destroy England, just use an "Avada Kedavra" here and there and kill another. They might even use "Imperius" to control some important people in England, but that also wouldn't last long. The Muggles would take extreme positions, and the place would be bombed with atomic bombs if the world knew about it.
Snape foresaw all this with his current knowledge of the world, he thought it foolish of Voldemort and his band of dogs to think they could control not only the magical world but also the Muggle world. They no longer lived in a world where magic was an invincible weapon; the world was changing and would become even more technological in the coming decades.
"Wait, Snape, but if the Dark Lord wins this fight, many innocent people will fall, and England is just the beginning. What makes you think he won't try to control the world? After all, he has many allies, from vampires, werewolves, giants, and other dark creatures joining him...." The professor said.
Snape nodded at this; he knew it was not a lie, it was a consequence. However, he was more concerned with greater threats. As a guardian, he would always try to choose the option with fewer deaths, and every second he left the monarchs free, more entire worlds would be decimated. After all, with their current ambitions and the power of destruction they acquire, soon they...
'Of course, I will act if necessary... Although I will try to focus my time on my things...' Snape would act if needed, he did not know how long he would stay on this planet, and if he could help in some way, he would help.
Then he looked directly into the professor's eyes. "I will help when it is most necessary, of course, if it reaches a critical point, I will be there... However, I will not be on either side, consider me a third path," Snape said with a firm and serious tone.
Flint just looked at him, pondering his words. In fact, Flint had been thinking throughout the entire class. Given the growing magical power of this young man, Snape was a force he had never seen before. Someone he was today, who might even surpass Dumbledore, perhaps even in a few years after what he felt from the boy.
If there was someone who could defeat the Dark Lord, other than Albus himself, it would surely be Snape, and he believed in this young man doing the right thing. And he did not scoff when Snape said he would be a third side in this war. After what he saw, he just wanted the boy to follow the right path and do what was right.
'He is the future of this magical world, he will be the greatest wizard of this generation...' That was Flitwick's thought throughout the class.
"Alright, I understand, but I trust you will do the right thing when the time comes," he said at the end and continued, "Always keep training, Snape. I know you are putting in much more effort than in the last few years, and I can see that just from a few days of watching you, keep it up and I want to see all your potential." He said, smiling. "Perhaps you will become the greatest wizard of the magical world in this generation," he said firmly, revealing his true thoughts.
"Thank you..." Snape merely nodded, though he was a bit flattered by that. He was not much connected to the professor's words, but he stored everything he heard, as this was one of the few he had some respect for in this school.
"I am leaving..." Snape said, gathering his things as the professor nodded, and he began to exit the classroom, while a group of second-year students started to enter due to having their next class with Professor Flitwick, as some recognized Snape and were afraid of him, something common in the school these days.
Then, Snape gathered his things and began to leave the room while the second-year students started to enter for their next class with Professor Flint.
