In this manner, they vigorously took action in the area nearing the Misty Swamp.

Handfuls of Gold Coins were thrown out, and more and more Orcs were taken down.

This significantly slowed the march of the Orc Army, buying considerable time for the escort of farmers and refugees.

Over a dozen remaining castles, with the aid of the Bay Domain, were still putting up a stubborn resistance.

Invisibly, this also slowed the pace of the Orcs.

More than 120,000 refugees and farmers were transported to the Bay Domain.

Matthew didn't abandon the few scattered individuals remaining.
