Li Ling walked to the door of the fifth-floor resident.

She knew that this family generally did not lock their door, so she simply twisted the doorknob gently and pushed. The door to the other party's home opened.

At first, the door opened just a crack, and it was pitch-dark inside without any lights on. Then, Li Ling saw a big head suddenly appear through the crack at a very high speed, as if it was charging out.

"Ah..."

Li Ling was startled and staggered, nearly falling over. She was at a loss for a moment and forgot how to run away.

And she had already seen clearly that the big head poking out belonged to the Tibetan Mastiff she had always feared. Having not seen it for a few days, its size had grown considerably, even larger and more robust than a grown adult.

When its entire body became visible, it looked almost like a black-maned lion!
