In the prison, after some activity, it was time to prepare for breakfast.
Chen Hao didn't have to get the meal himself, as people hurried to help him with it. Fearing that Chen Hao's portion would not be enough, Baldie and a few others even placed all of their own food in front of Chen Hao's table, intending to eat only after Chen Hao was satisfied.
This scene made the other inmates' eyes go wide with astonishment. Were these the same boisterously arrogant people from cell number 13? They were all buttering up one man, who seemed to be a newcomer at that!
Ignoring the gazes of everyone, Chen Hao ate with relish.
The prison food was considerably better than what was portrayed on television: white rice with two side dishes. Although there was very little meat and oil, it still tasted quite good.
Chen Hao wasn't an unreasonable man. Seeing that Baldie and the others were already well-behaved, he did not give them a hard time anymore and allowed them to sit down and eat together.
