Jade was running towards her father's garden; she tried her best to ignore the visages of Katrina and Linda that periodically popped up in her mind as she sprinted towards battle.

[I do not have the luxury to mourn right now!]

She shook away those thoughts and forced herself to focus on the current situation.

The kids still depended on her so she had to stay strong.

As she was running, she saw a figure laying on the shrubs toward her left, his distinguishable hair and bronze skin quickly grabbing her attention.

[Is that… Henry?]

Her heart beat faster as she beheld the one tasked with beating either Seth or Morris, his body beaten and battered, drenched in blood.

His bones slightly visible on his arms that looked like they had been mauled by a wild beast.

"*gasp!*"

Jade covered her mouth in shock, just what kind of battle did he go through to have gotten such grotesque injuries?
