Katrina staggered towards her sword and picked it up.

"Never turn your back on your opponent unless they are dead, do you think this is a game princess?"

Katrina spat, her face distorting in disgust.

"How dare you try to show me mercy, who do you think you are!"

She staggered forward, her eyes foggy it was evident that she had suffered a concussion.

"This is a fight to the death; I will make sure to kill you right here!"

She declared, her eyes ablaze with immense bloodlust.

Jade winced as she reached out her hand to grab the knife that was stuck to her back.

"Urk!"

Jade pulled out the knife, blood gushing from the open wound.

[A fight to the death?]

Her eyes trembled, she had no intentions of killing Katrina, nor had she ever even killed anyone before.

The idea of taking another life terrified her.

"Katrina…"

She bit her lips and clenched her fist.
