Bab 37: System Shock

Before processing anything else, Kia's whole body jolted forward, shaking intensely, causing him to let out a loud cry and fall to his knees.

[Countdown: 10, 9, 8...]

His eyes rolled back into his head, and his limbs thrashed around like a fish out of water.

[7, 6, 5...]

This caught the immediate attention of the rest; they all stood up in panic and fear.

"Is he infected?" Claire questioned in a frantic voice.

"Keep the kids away," Sarah said to Claire, who took several steps back with the three children standing behind her.

"Mister!" Sofie cried out and attempted to run towards him, but Sarah caught her in time.

"Stay back!" she exclaimed, holding Sofie tightly and pulling out her gun. "We don't know what's happening to him."
