Nathan's face was dark. They had wasted two whole hours. By now, Ava, having gotten wind of their approach, was surely long gone. According to the tech team's latest update, Ava's phone was last detected in the trash can by the bedside.

Clutching Ava's phone, Nathan's eyes were red with anger as he glared fiercely at the woman pretending to be Ava.

"Tell me, who sent you?"

"No one... No one sent me... I just live here," the woman stammered, her heart pounding. She was terrified of messing up this job and not getting the money needed for her mother's life-saving surgery. Despite her fear, she kept her silence about the mastermind behind the scenes.

"If you tell me who sent you, I'll give you $100,000," Nathan offered again.
