Standing beside Lord Niko, Silas, and Talon, I felt the tension in the air shift as Margaret's voice rang out with a snide, mocking tone. Her laughter was a sharp, unsettling sound that cut through the din of the battle.

"Isn't it just precious?" Margaret said, her voice dripping with contempt as she turned to Akasha. "You're being used as a distraction, Akasha. They don't see you as a threat—just a pawn in their little game."
