JASPER'S POV

I was being followed!!

The person was fast and caught up with me a day later after I left Elisera. I decided to take a detour and circle the border of Rockwell town and Elisera. I hid for four hours and then the person appeared.

A female guard. I remembered she was one of the guards that was trained by General Adora. She was ruthless and excelled as a spy. But she was no match for me as I watched her from the wall at the border.

"What a waste of good talent," I said to myself.

She circled around and then seemed to give up and rushed forward. I chuckled as I gave her an hour head start and then heard a voice behind me "I must say you are a smart one "

I turned around and there stood Advisor Maxwell with a smirk on his face.

"How?" My jaw dropped with the question.

"No one in this realm is faster than me, "He boasted.

"You saw her following me and just let her?" I scolded him.
