Karen huffed in anger.

She pointed at the woman angrily. "Of course I'm worthy of this position! Moreover, I was appointed by Mr. Lanes. You're just jealous, that's why you see the need to say those spiteful words."

She continued to scoff, "If you're not happy with me, then you can go and talk to Mr. Lanes. Let's see whether Mr. Lanes will fire you or me!"

The woman was not afraid. She smiled and said, "I was just about to tell you that everyone in our department has signed a petition to remove you. We've already submitted the petition to Mr. Lanes. Just wait and see, Miss Moore."

"You b*tch!" Karen grabbed the stapler next to her and hurled it at the woman. However, she had already turned around and left. The stapler ended up hitting nothing and fell onto the ground.

"B*tch! A bunch of b*tches! Why do they want Caroline back so badly? Is she that good? I'm not convinced! I'm absolutely not convinced!"

Karen screamed aloud then swept everything off her table out of anger.
