"Oh, I told her that someone was waiting for her at the entrance to confess to her. I lied that the man is wealthy, so she went obligingly," Claudia shrugged and said, "I don't know why she hasn't come back yet, but she should be soon."

"Pfft..." Caroline couldn't contain her laughter. Haward had previously fooled Loraine, only to tell her at the end that he was just an insurance agent. Tonight, Claudia managed to fool Loraine again by telling her that a wealthy man wanted to profess his love to her!

What sort of acquaintances had she made all this while? 

But come to think of it, Loraine wouldn't be cheated so easily if she hadn't been infatuated with the thought of hooking up with a better man.
