Bab 63: Two choices

"Brace yourself Neska!" Finrod declared, he placed his hands together, mana flowing within him and gathering at his fingers.

"Think of the trees." Neska said, but Finrod was too focused on what he was doing, on the spell he was crafting.

His hands grew in the energy they held, beaming and pulsating with the energy flowing through them. Then, the energy escaped his fingertips and brought his intent into fruition. In front of him, a large arrow of blue slowly began to form, it began with its blunt round end down to its sharp tip. It was a large powerful arrow, one as large as his arm.

"I am not done. Watch me." Then a streak of blue flashed from beneath causing Neska to look away momentarily.

Lightning streamed from his hands and ran across the massive arrow, coating it and enhancing its destructive capacity.

"That looks like it can kill me" Neska commented, alarmed by the energy that oozed out from the creation.
