Bab 75: Suck It Up

Entering the dungeon was easy. When three of the highest ranked Pack Tiberias pack members strolled towards the entrance, not a single guard dared to get in their way. The descent through the narrow staircase was just enough for two people side by side, resulting in Roselia trailing behind. Her footsteps echoed against the cold, hardwood that creaked with each step, almost in warning of what was below. Her heart thudded in her chest with each step deeper into the underground. 

Anna walked with an ease that demonstrated how often she came down here, high heels and all clicking. Noah was brimming with anxiety that lingered into Roselia, his shoulders a bit hunched despite his youthful energy. His brown curls bounced and he'd always look behind him in worry, his ocean eyes lingering on her every few seconds.

"It… smells okay," Roselia said, feeling as if the air was stale and sterile, almost reminding her of a hospital.
