The next step was to spark Elizabeth's interest in Irene's necklace, but she didn't need to put in much effort since Elizabeth seemed to notice her diamond necklace from the start.

"Mrs. Delacroix, if I may ask, where did you get that necklace?" Elizabeth couldn't take her eyes off it.

Irene knew from Sebastian that Elizabeth was a hardcore jewelry collector. At least once a month she would buy jewelry or order it from a jewelry designer.

Therefore, she was interested in Irene's necklace the moment she saw it.

"Oh, this." Irene touched her necklace. "I designed it myself."

Elizabeth's pupils dilated as she heard that shocking information. "Really?"

Irene smiled. "Just like my sister, I also work as a jewelry designer. But unfortunately, I didn't have enough money to open my own jewelry store back then."
