Well, He didn't know the exact catch in the test so, he figured it out, birds equal to nests and nests equal to eggs, for the solution.

And one more thing based on his observation, no birds seem to be in the phase of giving eggs so, it is safe to say, that no bird will lay eggs.

Spending time alone was filled with boredom, it's been more than half and month, yet, he was still maintaining his sane.
