Bab 135: Kidnap Dahlia

Arthur pulled the trigger, and the trembling man before him collapsed as the arrow pierced the center of his forehead. The body hit the ground with a lifeless thud as Arthur lowered the crossbow.

"Dispose of him," he ordered coldly. The soldiers immediately complied, hauling the corpse away without a second glance.

A servant approached, her face pale and fearful. "Master, the Leader requests your presence," she informed him in a shaky voice. Arthur passed the crossbow to his bodyguard, nodded, and strode purposefully to his father's chambers.

Upon entering, he crossed his right arm over his chest and bowed respectfully before taking a seat across from Jake Laushen, his father and the formidable leader of their faction. Jake's eyes held a sharp glint as he gestured to an attendant, who quickly handed Arthur a rolled scroll.
