The sound of clinking armour and boots echoed through the Iron Vultures' compound as the gang's members rushed to secure their positions. 

Vira and Corax had mobilised everyone with chilling efficiency, knowing that Alex's reputation alone would test the mettle of even their most seasoned fighters. 

Traps were being set, explosives positioned, and patrol routes established. 

By now, every member understood the stakes: if they failed, the Iron Vultures were done for.

As the preparations reached a fever pitch, Corax retreated to his personal quarters, a dimly lit space that contrasted sharply with the chaos outside.
