Bab 26: 026. Lost Wolf [V]

Elara's feet dragged on the floor. She speechlessly roamed her eyes at him all through his ranting.

Realizing her quietness, Alpha Harlan released his grip and turned around as though he regretted overdoing it.

Elara took a step away, however, she staggered as pain surged in her knee. "Ouch!" She gasped and looked down at it. Her knee was scraped from the way she fell earlier. It looked minor but it still stung.

Alpha Harlan, upon hearing her gasp turned to her. Elara immediately held her head higher and feigned pretense as if she weren't injured.

"Don't come closer." She said, more of a warning.

Harlan felt the embarrassment in her voice. Stains of blood were on the scrape, making him frown at what she said. Mindless, he knelt beside her, concern etched on his mind yet his face showed otherwise.

"How much silly can you be?" He scolded and glanced at her, Elara rolled her eyes up not wanting to meet his gaze.
