Lizzy's Mana wasn't activating the Magic circle at all? Actually, no, the first layer seemed to be barely lighting up, if at all. In fact, a single tiny firefly would have been more luminous. 

Was this the extent of her power?

After training so much the last month, not even Rank 1?! 

One had to know that Rank 1 was merely the first step to becoming a mage! If she couldn't even do that, she'd have to give up and become a researcher. 

NO WAY IN HELL! 

Researching? The old her wouldn't have minded. But now she wanted more. More than studying all day long. She wanted to explore this world. She wanted to LIVE! 

Her Teacher had shown her that one should never give up. Besides, there were all her fellow disciples cheering her on!
