"So, you were planning to run again." Kade rested his chin on Ren's shoulder as he spoke without any warmth.

Ren shivered when the cold breath hit him.

"I... I wasn't!" Ren stammered, trying to defend himself. "I was just curious... sorry."

Kade chuckled, a deep sound that vibrated through Ren's body. "Curiosity killed the cat, you know," he whispered into Ren's ear, his breath cold against Ren's sensitive skin. "But you, my dear, are far too precious to lose."

Ren swallowed hard, unsure how to respond. The situation was quickly becoming overwhelming, and he could feel his anxiety creeping back. But Kade's hold on him became firm, grounding him in the present moment.

The video continued playing, showing various scenes of Ren's earlier attempts at escaping or hiding, each more futile than the last. It was clear that Kade had been aware of his every move.
