Bab 45: An Ancient Prophecy

When Terim and Ren were left alone in the room, Terim became a proud young master once again. He adjusted Ren's bed to make him more comfortable, inclining it slightly. Then, with a sense of purpose, he reached into his pocket and placed something in Ren's hand. Ren looked down to see the creepy doll resting in his palm. Had he not known about the purpose of this cursed lucky doll, he might have been scared by now.

Ren's eyes widened in horror as he looked at Terim. "You... Are you trying to curse me with this doll? How could you?"

Terim was startled to see the devastated look on Ren's face as he continued, "I treated you as my friend, and this is how you repay my kindness?"

Terim, "..." 

He stared at Ren, speechless.

The system was used to its host acting weird from time to time, but this was Terim's first time seeing him like this. After the initial shock, Terim calmly smacked Ren's forehead as Ren had done to him earlier.
