Several ladies were frightened, their faces turning pale with nervousness. Lucy approached them expressionlessly, her demeanor polite. "Good evening, Mrs. Zhao, Mrs. Qian, Mrs. Sun, Mrs. Li." Before they could respond, Lucy got straight to the point. "Our young lady is still small and can't bear to hear certain things. I hope you ladies will be mindful of your words and actions." There was a hint of warning in her tone.

Lucy was just an assistant, but she was Old Madam Ye's personal assistant. The ladies exchanged glances and then began to rebut in hushed tones.

"Assistant Lucy, have we misunderstood something?"

"Yeah, we didn't say anything."

"Besides, we spoke quietly... from that distance, it's impossible for her to hear, right?"

Lucy's gaze fell on the three ladies who were speaking. She politely smiled and said, "Mrs. Qian, Mrs. Sun, Mrs. Li, Old Madam asked me to remind you, not to hear your explanations."
