The man didn't react carelessly. He took the drink that had been offered to him and took a big gulp, then he looked up straight, his expression clear.
"How do you know Oliver, and why do you want to uncover the truth?" he asked.
"My master is sort of a student to Oliver, and he has promised to get to the bottom of what happened. He is away at the moment, though, and has left the investigation to me," Colax said.
"Your master must have an extensive network to be able to locate me. Is he some big shot?" the man asked.
"I can't give out that information; his status is quite a sensitive one," Colax said.
"I see. Well then, I know that I am in a disadvantageous position as it stands, but I'd still like to ask for some sort of reward for the information I have for you," the man said.
