Li Jun let out a sigh; this was just what he needed, an enemy that stood above the core refining stage and possibly towards the peak of the earthly spirit stage. He didn't know how strong Xun was, but it was clear that the cat far surpassed him even now.

He eyed his opponents. What were they waiting for? The strange half-human, half-beast monsters surrounded him entirely, yet they didn't attack immediately. He noticed something beyond their blank expressions. Fear.

'Are they afraid of me?' He thought as he took a hesitant step forward. Three of the monsters shuffled backward. Li Jun looked at one of the creatures that stood out among the group. It had long, floppy ears that looked like they had come from an elephant. The Chimera instinctively stepped back, away from his gaze.
