"Couldn't you have asked for a better saddle!?" Sun Yang complained as his horse galloped beside Xun. 

"I told you already, I'm not rich. That was the best I could afford." Li Jun said. "If you don't like it, we can go back and return it, and I'll have Xun carry you in his mouth."

The black Cat glanced at Sun Yang and bared its teeth. 

"Is it mocking me?" He asked as the Cat continued to stare at him as it ran beside his horse.

Although he had ridden horses all throughout his life, he had never quite been on a saddle for this long. They had traveled through the night, galloping at full speed. The horse was a Galthian, a breed specific to the southern desert. They were used often as war horses due to their larger size and incredible stamina. Though its powerful stride was exactly why he found the saddle uncomfortable.
